On the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day.

As part of the celebration of the World Down Syndrome Day, the Shafallah Center for people with disabilities, in cooperation with the one store of Almana Enterprises, opened a plastic art pavilion displaying the paintings of Shafallah Center's affiliates with mild intellectual disabilities and autism at the store's headquarters located in Doha Festival City, on this occasion, Mrs. Maryam Saif Al Sowaidi, Executive Director of Shafallah Center, said that this joint cooperation expresses the interest of the private sector to support people with disabilities in fruitful projects based on the principle of social responsibility، Al Sowaidi confirmed.. Through its participation in the pavilion, Shafallah center aims to highlight the talents and abilities of the center's members with disabilities artistically and to give them confidence in themselves and encourage them to develop their abilities in addition to qualifying them to participate in local and international art competitions and invest those talents in empowering them economically, she pointed out that holding such events would attract all segments of society to see the artistic creations of people with disabilities and contribute to the achievement of human rights support for people with disabilities in society.

The executive director of Shafallah Center appreciated the efforts of "the one" store in supporting and empowering the Shafallah Center's affiliates, integrating them, and highlighting their abilities and talents.

On the other hand, Mr. Gaby Salome, general manager of The one company, stated that "our cooperation with Shafallah center within the "creative painters" initiative reflects the essence of the principles of the one company, and it is a great honour for us to highlight the amazing talents of the center's affiliates , as all the art pieces currently displayed in our branches depict their unique and inspiring stories told through their artistic creations. The general manager of the one pointed out that the collection of artworks is displayed at the one branch in Doha Festival City throughout the month of Ramadan and will continue until the end of it. He while this initiative confirms the commitment of the one company in achieving the values of humanity and charity work and its commitment to nurturing emerging talents within a supportive environment based on inclusion and appreciation of creativity. 

Mr. Gaby Salome said that these initiatives reflect the vision of the one company, which places community members at the top of its list of priorities and is based on the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility, which highlights y-one's main goal of providing an incubating environment that enhances support and inclusion for people with disabilities.

It is worth mentioning that the cooperation between the two sides has been preceded in the past years, but the one store has decided to expand the scope of joint cooperation with Shafallah center, and this cooperation will be activated through expanding the scope of work to implement many awareness-raising technical workshops at the center, and the one store employees will be trained on the skills of how to deal with people with disabilities.
